LEVEL ENTRANCE: You'll need Oxley to access the last Story Level. From the previous level's exit, follow the road to the left. Then head down toward the beach. Smash the box of bananas and pick up the single banana left behind. The Crystal Skull that Oxley now holds will repel the ants as you move along the road to the left. Throw the banana to the monkey sitting in the tree on the other side of the pit. The monkey will throw back a golden key. Use it to turn the mechanism and raise the floor of the pit so you can cross. Continue through the archway with the green arrow. (See the Hub Maps and Story Level Intro page for screenshots.)

Clearing with Anthills

You control Indiana Jones and Mutt, but Oxley is also along for the ride. He follows your other characters and uses the Crystal Skull to keep the ant swarms away while they deal with the Boss: Colonel Dovchenko.

Dovchenko attacks normally at first. So just punch or whip him until he loses all 4 hearts. At this point, he'll fall down and a swarm of ants will carry him away. He's not defeated yet, though. A giant creature made of red ants rises out of the swarm and begins tossing the Colonel around. Try to avoid the creature if possible. Touching it can kill your characters, but it also pounds the ground and throws balls of ants. Try to jump just before each shockwave hits to avoid taking damage.

Hit Dovchenko 4 times until he has no more hearts.		He falls down and the ants cary him off.
The insects then mass together into a giant man-shaped ant monster.

You can't fight the monster directly. Instead you must defeat it by plugging up the 2 anthills that feed it. Begin by running to the near left corner of the clearing, where you'll find 2 traffic cones (pylons). Pick one up and place it on top of one of the anthills with red ants swarming out of it. Note that there are 5 anthills in all, but only 2 of them actually have ants coming out of them. You must cover the ones with ants coming out. When both are covered, the ant monster dissolves and the ants carry Dovchenko back toward your group.

Run to the left and grab one of the orange traffic cones.		Place it on top of one of the two anthills with red ants swarming out of it.
Use the second cone to plug up the other active anthill. (Ignore the hills with no ants.)		The insect monster dissolves and Dovchenko attacks again.

Fight the Colonel until you take away all 4 of his hearts. Again the ants carry him off and re-forms into the huge creature. Now there are 3 anthills with ants swarming out of them. Just like before, you'll need to cover them to stop the creature.

Use Indy's whip to pull another traffic cone off the back of the truck on the right side of the clearing. Pick it up and use it to plug one of the anthills. The 2 cones from before are somewhere nearby, being carried along by swarms of ants. When you see one of the cones go by, chase it, grab it and place it on top of one of the anthills with ants swarming out of it. Repeat with the third cone. Stay away from the cliff edge in the background since characters can fall off here.

The second time you beat the Colonel, the ants carry him away and the ant monster re-forms.		Use Indy's whip to grab another cone from the truck on the right.
Use it to cover one of the three hills with ants swarming out of it.		The two cones from before are being carried around by ants.
Chase them down, grab them and use them to cover the other two hills with swarming ants.

When the 3 active anthills are covered, the creature dissolves again and you must fight Dovchenko again. Punch or whip him as usual. When you've hit him 4 times, the ants burst out of their holes and carry him away once more. This time the insects alternate between man shape and the form of a giant shark, "swimming" along the ground with Dovchenko on its back, then leaping into the air and crashing into the ground, damaging your characters if they happen to be standing nearby.

In order to defeat the ant-shark, you must plug all 5 anthills. The 4 traffic cones from before are moving about on the backs of the various ant swarms. Chase them down, grab them and place them on top of the remaining 4 anthills. The 5th cone is sitting on the back of the truck on the left side of the clearing. Use Mutt's repair skill to fix the blue motor. This opens the truck's tailgate so you can jump up and grab the cone. Place it on top of the last anthill. When all 5 hills are covered, the ant-shark collapses and the level is over.

Fight Dovchenko a third time until the ants carry him away.		While the ant-shark "swims" around the clearing, retrieve the four cones and use them to plug four of the anthills.
Have Mutt repair the truck on the left. Then jump up in back to get the fifth cone.		Use it to cover the final anthill and end the level.

Beating this level unlocks the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Part 3 playset. Once you've opened it, you can then continue the story or return to Part 2 to play the Treasure and Bonus Levels.
