Crystal Skull Part 3 – Story Level 1: Repair Scare

LEVEL ENTRANCE: From the spot where your characters first appear on the hub map, head to the right, past the ant swarm, and follow the green arrow beneath the archway made of branches. The Hub Maps and Story Level Intro have more info if you need it.

Clearing with Quicksand and Anthills

Grab a bazooka from the green trunk near the Car Boat. Use it to blow up the silver boulders on the left, where the monkey is sitting. The monkey then flees to higher ground and in the process discovers a gold key. Down below, a swarm of red ants pours out of the hole where the boulders were.

Switch to Oxley if you aren't controlling him already. He can move through the ants with no trouble. Hit the middle palm tree in the group of three to knock down a banana. Pick it up and throw it to the monkey, who'll toss down the key. Be sure to smash the palm fronds and enter the little cave below where the monkey is sitting. You'll find a purple stud and some others inside.

Head to the right, insert the key in the mechanism and turn it to fix the wooden bridge over the quicksand. Cross over and get a box of LEGO bits. Carry it back to the Car Boat and drop it on one of the green plates.

Return across the bridge to the area beyond the quicksand. Smash the plants for studs. Then jump up to grab the dangling vine on the right. Cross over the rock ledge and then use Indy's whip to pull the orange ring and pull down another bridge. Cross over. Then switch to Mutt and repair the winch and lower the cage into the ant swarm below.

Switch back to Oxley, hop down into the swarm and get the purple stud at the back of the pit and the others scattered about. Be careful not to step into the center of the anthill. Even Oxley can't survive that. Then pick up the second box of bits sitting in the cage and carry it back to one of the green plates near the Car Boat.

Now you just need one more box of parts. Switch back to Indiana and use his whip to pull the orange ring in the pit on the right. Then quickly climb out of the pit as the ants swarm out of the hole you just made. Switch back to Oxley and use the 3 boulders to build a rough staircase. Climb up, jump to grab the handrail, and then jump to the top of the big rock. Grab the third box of bits, hop down and return to the Car Boat. When you drop the third box onto the green plate, the bits start to jiggle. Use them to rebuild the vehicle and end the level.
