Area 1: Mining Tunnel

Short Round has been captured by the Thuggee slavers. You now control Indy and Willie. Use Willie's super jump to reach the ledge on the left. Then use the LEGO bits build a handrail so Indy can climb up. Pick up the box of bits on the right, behind the mine cart, and drop it on one of the green LEGO plates. Position Indy on the whip platform and use the whip to pull the ring above. This raises the wooden platform on the left.

Switch back to Willie and jump onto the platform, then the ledge above. Grab the second box of bits and carry it down to the other green plate. Use both sets of bits to repair the mine cart, which then rolls away, crashing through the barrier at the end of the tracks.

Have Willie jump onto the ledge.		Build a ladder so Indy can climb up.
Place one box of bits on one green plate.		Use Indy's whip to raise the wooden ledge.
Now Willie can reach the second bits box.		Use both sets of bits to fix the mine cart.
It crashes through the wall, making an exit.

Move to the tunnel opening above the lava pool. Jump to grab the dangling rope and then jump from there to the small platform ahead.

Jump from the small platform to grab the handrail on the tunnel wall. Climb to the right above the lava and then jump down into the tunnel ahead. Several waves of Thuggees emerge from the high tunnel on the left. Smash them until they eventually stop coming.

Fight the Thuggees that slide down from above.

Continue forward through the opening made by the mine cart. In the next room stand Indy on the whip platform and pull the ring above to get the bits needed to build a handrail. Climb up and get artifact piece #3.

Now move to the right side of the room, where you'll encounter 2 Thuggees with crossbows. When you've taken care of them, jump onto the platform and turn the key to lower the cage and free the slave child inside. He runs to the nearby crawlspace and goes through to reach the alcove above, where he uses a lever to open the exit.

Turn the key to lower the cage and free the first slave child.

He will then open the door for you.

Area 2: Cave with Lava Pool [jump to top]

Hop down onto the narrow ledge next to the lava pool on the right. Walk to the end to get artifact piece #4. Then climb the ladder to get back to where you started.

Have Indy whip swing across the smaller lava pool to the dead-end tunnel in the background. Smash the crate on the right. Take the LEGO part you find inside and place it on the green plate. Then turn the key on the left to move the conveyor across the lava pool to the other side, dumping the part on the ground near where Willie is waiting.

Place the LEGO part on the small, green plate near the edge of the lava pool. Have Indy jump over to the first wooden platform on the right. Face left and use Indy's whip to grab the LEGO part and pull it across the gap toward him. Set it down on the right side of this ledge, then hop over to the next ledge and, again, use the whip to grab the part and pull it across the gap. Repeat this to get the part all the way across to the cave on the right. Carry it around the corner and add it to the broken engine.

Turn they key to move the conveyor across the lava.		Place the part on the green plate to the right.
Jump over to the first small ledge and use the whip to grab the part.		Drop the part, jump to the next ledge and use the whip to snag the part again.
Repeat this twice to get the part across. Then carry it to the machine.

Smash the tool barrel just to the left of the wooden door to get the wrench inside. Use it to repair the engine that runs the lift. Now break the other barrel under the ledge with the slave cage to get a shovel. Use it to dig in the sparkling area on the right to unearth a golden key. Use this in the mechanism under the ledge to raise a whip platform.

Have Indy jump onto the lift and ride it upward. Jump off onto the ledge and then work your way around to the whip platform on the right. Swing across the gap and smash the cage to free the slave child inside. The small boy squeezes through the crawlspace and pulls the lever in the alcove above to open the exit. A mob of Thuggees rushes in and you must fight them.

Smash the barrel near the door to get a wrench.		Use it to repair the engine that runs the lift.
Smash the other barrel to get a shovel and dig up a key.		Use the key to raise a whip platform.
Ride the lift to the ledge above.		Whip swing across to the opposite ledge.
Smash the cage to free the slave boy.		He'll then open the door for you.

Go through the door the slave child opened for you. In the next room, smash the stack of boxes near the right wall to find an orange button. Carry it across the room and place it on the green plate. Stand on the button to start the lift moving up and down. Then jump from the button onto the lift, ride it up and jump onto the wooden ledge with artifact piece #5.

Now grab a bundle of dynamite from the box on the right. Target the jumble of silver bars in the doorway and throw the dynamite to blow them up. Go through the opening to the next area.

Area 3: Slave Cage [jump to top]

Fight more Thuggees just inside this large, open area. Then move to the right and break up the pile of planks in the round opening next to the broken engine. When the rubble disappears, you'll find a handle. Carry it to the left and snap it onto the green piece on the wall. Then pull the handle to extend a staircase. (Watch out for a Thuggee with a crossbow lurking over here if you didn't get him earlier.)

Climb the stairs and fight a few more Thuggees near the cage where the village children are being held.

If you no longer have the shovel from the previous area, you can get one by smashing the box in front of the slave cage. Dig up the sparkling area on the left to find another handle. Attach it to the green piece on the wall next to the cage and pull it to open the cage and let the children out.

Naturally more Thuggees come running to see what's happened. As you fight them, one of the freed slaves goes through the crawlspace at the top of the steps on the right and pulls the lever there to raise the 2 square platforms below. You'll use these to reach the exit soon, but there's more to do here first.

Now use Willie to jump up into the empty slave cage, smash the tool canister there and get a blue cog. Carry this over to the right side of the cavern and place it on the broken engine. If you need a wrench, you'll find one in one of the boxes near the right wall. Repair the engine to obtain artifact piece #8.

Climb the stairs on the left. Grab the shovel leaning against the wall below the empty slave cage. Then hop across the small square platforms to reach the high ledge on the right. Smash the pile of brown bricks blocking the exit tunnel and go through.

Area 4: Rock Crusher [jump to top]

In this area you face the level Boss: The Thuggee Slave Driver. If you're playing alone, he'll only go after the character you control. So if you need a break from fighting, or some healing, just hop down onto the ledge in the foreground. The slave driver won't follow, and you can take your time smashing boxes, barrels and rocks for studs and hearts.

If you still have a shovel from before, go after another artifact before taking on the slaver. Dig up 3 sparkling LEGO skulls buried in this area: The first is near the fence on the far left. The second is on the right, near where the mine cart tracks curve around toward the back of the area. The third is on the ledge in the foreground, beneath the rock crusher's huge roller. When you dig up the third skull, artifact #9 appears.

Now jump into the fight. Punch the slave driver a few times until he falls down. At this point, a cut scene shows the Maharajah throwing down a vial of some mysterious black substance, which revives the slave driver and heals any damage you've done. This will continue to happen as long as you fight the slave driver directly. So now you need to stop the Maharajah.

Begin by pushing the train car along the tracks to the end. Later you'll use it to jump across to the ledge on the right.

Next, grab a bundle of dynamite from the box below the ledge where the Maharajah is standing. Aim for the cage on the left, where Short Round is being held, and throw the dynamite to blow up the bars.

Switch to Short Round and go through the crawlspace to reach the ledge with the Maharajah. Hit him and he'll flee through a little hole on the back wall only to emerge on the next ledge to the right.

Grab some dynamite. . .		. . . and use it to blow up the bars and free Short Round.
Have Short Round go through the crawlspace and smack the Maharajah.

Before going after the Maharajah, jump over to the handrail on the left. Climb to the left and jump up onto the ledge with artifact piece #10.

Jump back down to the ledge where you just encountered the Maharajah. Smash the tool canister to get a wrench. Then jump onto the dangling bucket just to the right and use the wench to repair it. When it starts moving, ride it upward and then jump down to the next ledge on the right. (You don't have to jump onto the second bucket.)

Hit the Maharajah again and he'll scurry off through a tunnel leading to the next ledge. Even Short Round can't fit through that tunnel. In order to reach him, you'll need to jump across the top of the train car that you moved earlier.

Ride it upward and jump off on the right.		Slap the Maharajah again so he flees to the rightmost ledge.

When you hit the Maharajah a third time, he snaps out of his trance and realizes Short Round is a friend. The Thuggee slave driver is not about to become your buddy, though. He jumps over the fence onto the conveyor belt feeding the rock crusher and starts hurling LEGO boulders at your people.

In order to beat him, grab another bundle of dynamite from either one of the boxes. The first is just to the right of the crawlspace; the other is near the curve in the train track. Run with the dynamite toward the fence between your characters and the conveyor belt. Target the slave driver and throw the dynamite at the fence. When it explodes, the slave driver takes damage. The dynamite will continue to respawn as you use it up. So just keep throwing dynamite until you defeat the boss.

Grab a bundle of dynamite. Aim at the slave driver through the fence and throw.		There's more dynamite on the right.
Each successful hit takes one of his hearts.
