LEVEL ENTRANCE: Once you've unlocked the British Commander (see the Characters page for details), return to the Shanghai neighborhood where you first started this hub. Look for the building with the neon sign advertising Club Obi Wan. Use the Commander's bazooka to blow up the silver frame above the door. If he won't target it, just stand facing the door and fire; that should do the trick. The frame then falls down, smashing the door so you can enter. (Check the Bonus Level Intro if you need screenshots.)

Large Underground Tomb with Lava

Smash the plants and gather some studs near the start. Then use Short Round to crawl through the hatch on the left to emerge on another ledge in the background. Repair the generator to activate a moving platform in the lava pool to the left.

Return through the hatch or, if you're playing solo, just switch to Indy and Short Round should crawl back through to meet him. Step onto the moving platform, ride it upward and jump off onto the ledge ahead. Just be careful not to run on into the spinning saw blades. Carefully jump over each of the 3 blades as they retract. Then fight the 3 Thuggees in the room beyond the saws.

Use Short Round to crawl through the hatch on the left.		He'll emerge on a ledge in the background. Repair the generator there.
This activates a moving platform just to the left.		Return to the start (or just switch to Indy) and use that platform to reach the ledge above.
Hop over the 3 saws when they retract. Then fight the Thuggees beyond.

Now head to the right. The dangling rope above is too high to reach from here, so go down the steps toward the lava. Jump from the lowest step to the small pillar directly to the right in the lava pool. From there, jump across the remaining small pillars to the ledge on the right with the ladder.

Climb the ladder to the ledge above and push the box forward along the checkerboard tiles. Climb on top of the box and jump over the flames onto the ledge above.

Head down the steps on the right. . .		. . . and jump across the pillars to the ledge on the right with the ladder.

Smash the jars and plants for studs. Then use the dangling rope to swing across the next ledge on the left. Grab a spear from the chest, and swing back over to the right. Throw the spear into the socket on the back wall and use it to reach the next ledge on the right.

Use the rope to swing across to the left. Grab a spear and swing back to the right.

Throw the spear into the socket and use it to jump over to the next ledge on the right.

Head down the steps to the front part of the ledge and fight another Thuggee there. Then carefully jump from the stairs on the left past the spinning saw blade as it retracts. In the area behind the saw there's a chest containing bottles of water. Throw several bottles at the flames below on the right. You can do this by standing just behind the saw, waiting for it to retract and then throwing.

When you've extinguished the flames, turn the crank to raise a set of platforms in the foreground. Smash the plants up on the ledges if you like and then hop across those platforms to the next ledge in the foreground.

Fight another Thuggee at the front of this ledge.		Then jump from the steps over the retracting saw blade into the area behind it.
Throw water bottles down at the flames when the saw blade retracts.		Once you've put out the flames, turn the crank to raise a pair of platforms.
Hop across to the next ledge in the foreground.

Hop down and fight 3 more Thuggees who are waiting for you there. Then smash all the plants and jars for studs. Use Indy's whip to pull the orange ring on the other side of the lava to the left. Doing so raises another platform out of the lava. Hop across, picking up a purple stud on the way. The Artifact is just ahead on the left. Take it to end the level.

Fight 2 more Thuggees below.		Use Indy's whip to pull the orange ring off to the left, rasing another platform in the lava.
Cross over it, snagging a purple stud on the way.		Take the Artifact to finish the level.
