LEVEL ENTRANCE: The entrance to this level is the same as its Story Level counterpart: the hole in the earthen wall just below the palace. You'll need the Village Elder (academic ability) and the Thuggee Acolyte (spear) for this level. (Check the Treasure Level Intro or Hub Maps for screenshots and the Characters page if you need help unlocking these characters.)

Thuggee Ceremonial Chamber

As you explore this room, various Thuggees and British Soldiers will rush around you, chasing each other back and forth. You can ignore them for the most part, since they won't bother you. The only major hazard is the huge lava lake in the foreground—hence the level title. ;)

Near the entrance are 5 green plates awaiting boxes of LEGO bits. You'll find the first box (1/5) near the big pile of junk just to the right of the entrance. Pick it up and drop it on any of the 5 plates.

Have the Thuggee Acolyte character hop onto the moving platform in the background, near to where the first box of bits was, and ride it up to the ledge above. Follow this ledge back and around to the right. Jump onto the blue-and-silver platform. Now switch to the Village Elder and turn the mechanism to move the platform, with the Acolyte standing on it, to the right. If you're playing solo, the Acolyte will automatically jump over to the corner ledge on the right.

Switch back to the Acolyte and push the box along the checkerboard tiles and off the edge. Now, if you accidentally fall off the ledge while attempting to reach the second box, you can use the loose bits on the floor to build a ladder and climb back up. Throw a spear into the socket on the right wall. Jump to grab the spear and then jump from there to the next ledge, where you'll find another box of bits (2/5). Pick it up, hop down to the floor and carry the box to one of the green plates near the entrance.

Take the box of LEGO bits just inside on the right and drop it on any of the 5 green plates.		Have the Thuggee Acolyte ride the lift up to the ledge at the middle-right.
Follow the ledge around to the right and jump onto the blue-and-silver platform.		Switch to the Village Elder and have him turn the key to move the platform to the right.
Switch back to the Thuggee and push the box off the ledge.		If you accidentally fall off the ledge, you can use the bits from the box to build a ladder.
Throw a spear into the socket between this ledge and the next one.		Then jump to the spear and from there to the ledge with the box of bits.
Carry the box back to the left and drop it on one of the green plates.

Return to the back right corner and smash the LEGO brick wall to reveal an alcove. Inside is another box of bits (3/5). Carry it back to the entrance and drop it on one of the green plates.

Carry the box back to the entrance and drop it on one of the green plates.

Now head for the left side of the room. Use the Thuggee Acolyte to throw spears into the 2 sockets on the back wall. Use the spears to climb onto the ledge above and to the right. Follow this ledge around to the right and hop across the 2 rickety-looking, gray ledges to reach the ledge above and to the left of the entrance. Here you'll find another box of bits (4/5). Grab it, hop down and drop the box on one of the green plates.

Throw spears into the sockets on the back left wall.		Use the spears to reach the ledge above and to the right.
Hop across the uneven gray ledges to the solid ledge with the 4th box of bits.		Grab the box, hop down and drop the box on one of the green plates.

Four boxes down; one to go. Switch to the Village Elder and have him climb the ladder on the far left side of the room. Cross the ledge and wooden bridge to the back left corner, where you'll find a hieroglyph puzzle. Solve it as you've done before and it will slide open to reveal the last box of LEGO bits (5/5). Take it, hop down to the floor, return to the right and drop the box on the remaining green plate.

You should now have 5 piles of LEGO pieces. Use them to build a raft, which then slides down the ramp into the pool of lava. As it does, the camera shifts to show the Artifact on an island in the lava.

Use the Village Elder to climb the ladder on the far left.		Cross the wooden bridge to the back left corner and solve the glyph puzzle there.
The door opens revealing the last box of bits.		Carry it down and drop it on the last green plate.
Use the 5 piles of LEGO pieces to build a raft.		When the raft is complete, it slides into the lava, and you glimpse the Artifact off to the right.

Have either character hop from the ramp onto the raft and paddle around the lava lake, gathering studs. There are several clusters with blue and purple studs in the middle. These should be more than enough to help you achieve "True Adventurer." When you're ready to go, move close to the island with the Artifact, hop from the raft to the island and touch the treasure chest to end the level.

When you have them all, jump onto the island with the Artifact to finish the level.
