Temple of Doom – Vehicles
This page lists all of the vehicles in the Temple of Doom, in the order they appear on the playset and pause menus, along with how to unlock them. Their locations are shown in the screenshots below, as well as on the Hub Maps.
Short Round's Car
Cost: 30,000 studs
This car can be found in the Shanghai neighborhood after you complete the 2nd Story Level.
Rickshaw
Cost: 25,000 studs
After beating the 2nd Story Level, return to the Shanghai neighborhood with Short Round. Find the rickshaw in the back corner and use Short Round's wrench to repair it. Then you can unlock it.
Junk Boat
Cost: 35,000 studs
The Junk can be found at the dock along the seashore at the bottom of the hub map, between the Super Bonus Level entrance and the canyon with the two bridges.
Did you know that the name "Junk" probably derives from the Chinese word 
(chûn, meaning boat or ship), via the Portuguese junco (boat), and that this type of vessel has been used since about 200 A.D.? Source: Wikipedia.
Tuk Tuk
Cost: 20,000 studs
When you beat the Tractor Race (see Races & Challenges), this three-wheeler appears near the pen where you found the tractor.
Tractor
Cost: 35,000 studs
This vehicle can be found in a little pen at the back of the village. After unlocking the British Commander (see the Characters page for details) use his bazooka to blow up the door to the pen. Then you can enter and unlock the tractor.
Scooter
Cost: 20,000 studs
When you beat the Stunt Plane Race (see Races & Challenges), the Scooter appears at the right end of the wooden bridge.
Stunt Plane
Cost: 100,000 studs
To unlock this aircraft, find the elephant that appears near the village after the 2nd Story Level and ride it down to the runway below Pankot Palace. Walk the elephant onto the big orange button to lower the barrier in front of the plane. Then you can purchase it.
Lao Che's Plane
Cost: 100,000 studs
This aircraft is parked on the landing strip near the Shanghai neighborhood. Once you've unlocked the British Commander (see Characters) use his bazooka to destroy the chains anchoring the plane to the runway and you'll be able to buy it.
