Crystal Skull Part 1 – Treasure Level 4: Bike Hike

LEVEL ENTRANCE: The entrance to this level is the same as the Motorcycle Mayhem Story Level: the wrought iron gate at the end of the street in College Town. (See the Hub Maps and Treasure Level Intro page for details and screenshots.)

College Town Streets After Dark

The layout of this level is also nearly identical to Motorcycle Mayhem, with city streets at the bottom of the map and a grassy quad and library at the top. There are no enemies this time, though. Instead the two main goals are to achieve "True Adventurer" status by collecting 140,000 studs and to pop 10 blue balloons by driving or jumping through them. A counter at the bottom right corner of the screen shows your progress. When you pop all 10 balloons, the Artifact appears at the top of the clock tower.

I've tried to be clear with these descriptions, but the screenshot version of this walkthrough may be helpful if you're having trouble locating any of the balloons.

If you've unlocked vehicles in the hub map, they will be parked in front of you and also to the left. (The Refrigerator car is on the next street next to the park). It is easier to grab balloons in cars. If you haven't bought other vehicles, then the bikes will be to your left.

If you are on the bike, do a U-turn and go to your right. On the car's right side, before the center street, there is a green car with a ramp. Drive up it to pop Balloon #1.

When you reach the center street, turn onto it and go up the ramp on the right with a speed boost in front of it to get Balloon #2. Make a U-turn and continue to the right along the street at the bottom of the map. At the construction site in the right corner of the level, go up the ramp on the right side of the street to nab Balloon #3.

Continue up the street into the background and make a left at the next intersection. Ignore the car on your vehicle's right that is parked near the fence for the moment and continue to the left until you come to a red bus with ramps on both ends. These lead up to Balloon #4. Head back to the right a short distance nd you'll see Balloon #5 hovering above the wooden ramp propped up on the car parked near the fence. (This car is parked just opposite the end of the center street.)

After driving up the ramp and popping the 5th balloon, you'll be inside the grassy quad at the top of the map. Head for the clock tower in the background and drive through the archway underneath it for Balloon #6.

Then head to the left and drive up the steps and into the library. As you pass through the library, drive up the ramp and crash through the stained-glass window to get Balloon #7, which is hovering just outside.

In the little yard outside the library, there is a ramp near the fence on the right. Drive up this ramp to pop Balloon #8. When you land back in the grassy quad on the other side of the fence, make a U-turn and head back to the left. Drive up the steps into the library. Continue all the way through and exit on the other side. Follow the road as it curves around toward the right foreground. Just ahead is an orange speed boost and 2 blue cars with planks propped against them. Drive up the ramp between the cars and over the fence to pop Balloon #9.

Head down the street to the right and re-enter the grassy quad through the first gate. Once again drive up the library steps, through the building and out the other side. Follow the road as it curves around toward the right foreground. This time, instead of jumping over the ramp near the 2 blue cars, go a little farther to the right and race up the long, diagonal ramp leading to Balloon #10. (This is roughly opposite the stained-glass window you shattered earlier.)

When you pop the last balloon, the Artifact appears in the clock tower. Drive back into the grassy quad and up either of the long ramps leading to the clock tower to get the Artifact.
