Crystal Skull Part 2 – Treasure Level 4: Forest Forage

LEVEL ENTRANCE: This is a vehicle level so it doesn't matter which two characters you use. The entrance is roughly the same as the Rainforest Rumble Story Level. Follow the road below the campsite as it curves around to the right. Just before the Super Bonus Level entrance and the Army Jeep, there's an archway made of branches. Enter there. Rainforest Roads and Paths

The layout of this level is nearly identical to the Story Level. There's a quicksand pool just below the starting point and various interconnected roads and paths on the top and left sides of the map. There's also a large, elevated area on the right that is separated from the rest. To get there, you'll need to jump your vehicle across the river gorge at the bottom center of the map. The rest of the bottom edge is a sheer drop-off.

Unlike the Story Level, there are no enemies here. Instead the two main goals are to achieve "True Adventurer" status by collecting 168,000 studs and to pop 10 blue balloons by driving or jumping through them. A counter at the bottom right corner of the screen shows your progress. When you pop all 10 balloons, the Artifact appears.

I've tried to be clear with these descriptions, but the screenshot version of this walkthrough may be helpful if you're having trouble locating any of the balloons.

Drive up the hill just to the left of the starting point to pop Balloon #1. Continue to the left and look for Balloon #2 floating above the road as it slopes downhill. Grab the jump boost at the bottom of the hill, return to the top and use the boost to reach the balloon.

Continue along the road until you see a smaller path leading off to the upper left. Turn here and continue along the overgrown path that runs along the left edge of the map and is elevated above the main road. Balloon #3 is hidden among the trees just above a cluster of studs. If necessary use the jump boost just ahead on that same path to reach the balloon.

Balloon #4 is on the dead-end road at the front left corner of the map. Drive up the slope and you'll see it sitting out in the open.

Pick up a jump boost (you can use the one near where you found Balloon #3 if you like). Then drive along the road at the bottom of the map from left to right. When you come to the gap above the river, use the boost to cross the gap and pop Balloon #5, which is hovering above. Don't worry if you miss it the first time. There's no need to backtrack just yet, since you'll need to jump across the river a few more times while going for the other balloons.

After jumping across the river, continue along the bottom of the map to the far right. Crash through the white barriers near the green jump boost and follow the road back along the right edge of the map. You'll find Balloon #6 at the end of this road, along with a large cluster of blue and purple studs.

Return to the road at the bottom of the map, go to the left just a little and then follow the road up the steep hill. Turn onto the first path that splits off to the left. Balloon #7 is just ahead.

Continue toward the top of the hill and follow the road that runs from right to left along the upper cliff edge, overlooking the swampy area near the start. Balloon #8 is hovering just above this road about halfway along.

Balloon #9 is floating beyond the cliff's edge at the top left corner of the cliff edge (i.e., just to the left of Balloon #8). Drive to the bottom of the hill and get the speed boost on the left, near the gap above the river. Then race up the hill and off the cliff to pop the balloon.

After this you'll wind up back in the low, swampy area near the start. Head back to the left and make your way along the bottom of the map from left to right. Jump across the river once more. (If you didn't get Balloon #5 earlier, be sure to use a jump boost here so you can reach it.)

Again, follow the road to the right along the bottom of the map. Just before you reach the bottom right corner, turn and head up the hill like you did before when going after Balloon #7. But instead of turning off to the left, continue straight up the hill to the camp site, where there are a bunch of brown LEGO tree stumps. Just before the clearing with the burning campfire, turn left and proceed to the orange speed boost. Get it and race off the edge of the cliff to the left to pop Balloon #10, which is hovering in the air just beyond the edge.

The Artifact appears at the edge of the cliff where you found the 10th balloon. (It appears here even if you pop a different balloon last.) Make your way back around to the bottom left side of the map, follow the road to the right, jump the gap above the river and continue along the bottom of the map to the right. Take the second road leading up the hill and continue straight up to the camp site with the LEGO tree stumps. Just before the clearing with the burning campfire, turn left and continue to the edge of the cliff where you'll find the Artifact.
