Crystal Skull Part 3 – Bonus Level 4: Treasure Room

LEVEL ENTRANCE: This one is located near the start of the Jeep Race and the stone circle at the bottom right edge of the map. Use either female character to jump up onto the ledge above the door and pull the lever to open it. See the Hub Maps and Bonus Level Intro for details and screenshots.

Underground Crypt with Quicksand

Use the Assassin's blowgun to shoot the bull's-eye targets behind the spinning saw from across the quicksand pool. Hitting the target on the right opens the gate on the right. Enter and fight an Ugha warrior.

Grab the shovel from the rack and return to the starting area. Dig up a treasure chest and smack it to get the water bottle inside. Take the bottle back to the right and throw it at the flames on the other side of the quicksand beyond the dangling rope. You don't have to put out all the fires, but you'll want to extinguish the 2 on the far right since they're blocking your path. (As usual, the bottle respawns in its original location after you throw it.)

Now use the blowgun to shoot the target above the remaining flames. This lowers the small platform to the right of it. Now jump over to the dangling rope, then to the ledge beyond. Hop up to the ledge on the left and pull the lever to activate a moving platform in the quicksand pool near the start.

Jump back to the rope and then to the starting ledge. Return to the left and use the blowgun to shoot the target on the left if you didn't do so earlier. This opens the gate on the left. Go through and fight another Ugha warrior. Then use the blowgun to shoot one more enemy on the ledge in the background.

Dig up the checkerboard tile floor and push the box forward to the edge of the quicksand pool. Climb onto the box and jump to grab the dangling rope. Jump from there to the ledge ahead and turn the crank to raise a set of steps above the quicksand near the start.

Use the rope to get back across the quicksand. Return to the starting area. Then carefully cross the moving platform and climb the steps, snagging a purple stud on the up way to the Artifact.
