Level Entrances

As in the other hubs, the Story Level entrances are usually indicated by green arrows and Treasure Levels by gold arrows. Bonus Levels are usually hidden. In some cases, you'll need particular Characters or Vehicles to reach them. If you're having trouble figuring out where to go next, check the aerial views below and/or refer to the Story Level, Treasure Level and Bonus Level introductions.

There is only one Super Bonus Level in each hub. In order to access it you must earn 10 Artifacts by beating each Treasure and Bonus Level. The artifacts are collected in one place on the map. When you have them all, use them to construct the level entrance. For details, see the Super Bonus Level page.

The game introduction includes some helpful notes on replaying levels.

NOTE: When you finish the 1st Story Level, your characters appear at the top of the river (L2a on the second and third aerial maps). You must then head downstream to the village to find the actual entrance to the 2nd level (L2 on the village map).

Races & Other Challenges

RICKSHAW RACE: After completing the 1st Story Level you unlock Short Round. You'll need him to repair the Rickshaw, which can be found in the back corner of the Shanghai neighborhood (V2 on the first Hub Map above). Once you've repaired the Rickshaw, pull it along to the starting gate, which is right in front of Club Obi Wan (R1 on the same map). From there, continue forward, turn right, then head down through the gate, out of the Shanghai neighborhood and past the airstrip with Lao Che's Plane. Follow the dirt road down to the left and you'll find the finish line just below the fork in the road.

Beating this race unlocks Lao Che, who appears back in the Shanghai neighborhood.

Use Short Round to repair the Rickshaw so you can unlock it.		The starting gate is just to the right, in front of Club Obi Wan.
Follow the paved street around to the right. . .		. . . then down through the gate and past the airplane landing strip.
Continue to the left along the cliff side. The finish line is just below the fork in the road.

JUNK BOAT RACE: The Junk Boat is available to unlock as soon as you're able to get to it, so any time after completing the 1st Story Level. It can be found docked at the bottom center of the map (V3 on the last Hub Map above). The starting gate for the race, is just to the right of the dock (R2 on the same map).

Winning this race unlocks the Dancing Girl. She appears on the dock near the starting gate.

Once you've unlocked the Junk Boat, sail to the right to pass through the starting gate.		Continue to the right, following the line of studs hovering above the water.
When you come to the little cove with the deck chairs and gramophone, steer back around to the left to clear the next few gates.		The finish line is close to the shore, near the canyon with the waterfall and two bridges.

SNAKE EXTERMINATIONS: When you complete the second Story Level and emerge back at the village, you'll find 3 villagers being menaced by green snakes. Since Indiana Jones is notoriously fearful of snakes, you'll need to use another character to smack the snakes and help the villagers.

Killing all 6 snakes unlocks the Village Elder, who can be found back at the village.

The first villager in peril is on the roof just to the right of the Level 2 entrance.		Climb the ladder on the right and smash 2 more snakes on this ledge.
The last 2 snakes are in the alley to the right of the Palace.		After you've killed them, you can climb over the rocks to get back to the village.

STUNT PLANE RACE: After you complete the 2nd Story Level, an elephant appears in the village. Hop on its back and ride down to the open area below the Palace, where you'll find the Stunt Plane. Walk the elephant onto the big orange button to lower the barrier on the runway in front of the plane. You can then unlock it.

Hop in and fly up over the Shanghai neighborhood, toward the snowy mountain with the 4th Bonus Level entrance. Just above it is the starting gate for this race (R4 on the second Hub Map above). Fly through the gate from right to left. Then continue up and around above the cave opening where the river begins. Fly down along the snowy hillside with the pine trees to find the second gate. Then circle back to the right to the finish line, just above Pankot Village.

Ride the elephant onto the button to lower the barrier. Then you can unlock the Stunt Plane.		Get in and take off.
Fly up and around through the starting gate, above the snowy mountain behind the Shanghai neighborhood.		Then follow the line of studs around to the left, above the cave where the river begins. . .
. . . and down along the snowy hillside with the pine trees, where you'll find the second gate.		Then curve around to the right to find the finish line above the village.

TRACTOR RACE: Once you've unlocked the British Commander (see the Characters page for details), use his bazooka to destroy the metal gate on the tractor pen behind the village. Then you can unlock the Tractor (V5 on the Pankot Village map above).

The starting line for this race is just to the right of the tractor pen (R5 on the same map). Drive through and follow the dirt road down along the right side of the village, then down the hill and around to the left toward the Palace. Then, instead of following the road all the way up to the palace, head straight down the map through the gap in the wall and into the clearing. Loop around the boulder at the bottom right side of the clearing and head back toward the village the way you came. Drive around the left side of the village to find the finish line near where you started.

Use the British Officer's bazooka to blow up the gate so you can unlock the tractor.		Drive out of the pen and through the starting gate, just to the right.
Follow the dirt road down along the right side of the village, then down the hill and left toward the Palace.		Instead of heading to the palace, through the gap in the wall and head straight down the map through the next gate.
At the bottom right side of this clearing, loop around the boulder and through the next gate. Then head back the way you came.		Go through the gap in the wall and back up the road to the village.
This time, drive around the left side of the village to the finish line, near where you found the tractor.
