LEVEL ENTRANCE: Once you've unlocked two characters with the required equipment (see the Characters page for details), swim out to the S.S. Coronado, near the small island at the lower right corner of the hub. When you reach the ship, jump on board and follow the gold arrow inside. (The Hub Maps and Treasure Level Intro include screenshots.)

The golden Artifact in this level is visible at the start, on top of a stack of crates off to the right. You'll need to make your way across the flotsam—and deal with the giant LEGO crab and octopus blocking your path—in order to reach it. If you've unlocked the "Stud Magnet" Extra, you may want to enable it and then take a quick swim around the area to collect all the studs, including the 2 purple studs above the crates in the right foreground and then tackle the platforming.

The artifact is visible at the start, but you can't reach it yet.

Before starting out, you may want to enable the Stud Magnet Extra and swim around gathering studs, including the 2 purple ones on the right.

Now to get that treasure chest. Using the character with the gun, hop onto the floating crate nearest the level entrance. (If you fall into the water, you can jump directly onto this crate, but only from the left side of it, which is slightly lower.) Shoot the bull's eye target to free a pair of crates trapped beneath the water.

Switch to the character with the sword and climb onto the first floating crate. Then hop over to the crates you just raised. From there, jump onto the next cluster of floating crates and barrels.

NOTE: Leaping from crate to crate without falling into the water is challenging. Double-jumping (i.e., pressing the Jump button and then quickly pressing it again while in the air) can help your character go a little farther each time. If you do fall in, you'll need to swim back to the single crate near the entrance and climb back onto it on the left side. Then repeat the jumps to get back where you were.

Aim and throw the sword at the string connecting the balloons to the thingy they're supporting. I'm not sure what this is. It looks like a birthday cake with a fish on top. The giant crab takes the cake and disappears beneath the water.

Shoot the bull's eye near the level entrance.		Switch to the character with the sword and hop across to the first stack of crates with barrels.
Throw the sword at the balloon string to drop the cake.		The giant crab then takes the cake and disappears beneath the water.

Switch back to the character with the gun and hop across the gap where the crab was onto the next set of crates, then the single crate beyond it, then the cluster of barrels to the right. Shoot the bull's eye target to raise another pile of crates with a green tarp draped over the top. Jump onto it.

If you didn't already get the 2 purple studs hovering above the crates to the right, jump over there and grab them now. Then hop back to the crates with the green tarp where you just were.

Switch to the character with the gun and hop across the crates to the 4 barrels.		Shoot the bull's-eye target to the right to raise another cluster of crates.
Hop onto the crates that just appeared. If you didn't get the purple studs on the right, do that now.

Now switch to the character with the sword and jump from the right end of the crates with the green tarp to the next group of crates in the background. (If you're playing solo, you may need to start all the way back at the first crate and make your way around to this point again. The AI player is not too cooperative in this level.) From there, aim and throw your sword at the cable suspending the box of dynamite above the giant octopus. The explosives detonate as they drop onto the huge, red tentacle, causing it to retract.

Now you can jump over to the crates supporting the left end of the broken mast. Move to the right side of this cluster and then jump to the ledge below and to the left of the Artifact. From there, you can jump up to the treasure chest and finish the level.

Switch back to the sword character and jump from the crates with the green tarp to the ones nearer to the giant octopus.		Throw the sword to cut the cable and drop the dynamite on the octopus.
