LEVEL ENTRANCE: Once you've unlocked either Stunt Plane or Lao Che's Plane (see Vehicles), fly up toward the Shanghai neighborhood and then head to the left. Bail out over the flat ledge on the snowy mountainside and parachute down to the ground. Enter the cave to start the bonus level. (Check the Bonus Level Intro if you need screenshots.)

Large Underground Tomb with Lava

Gather a few studs near the start. Then head up the stairs and fight the 2 Thuggees at the top. If you like, you can target them from below with the Maharajah's bottles of Black Sleep. This will cause damage but unfortunately won't allow you to take control of the Thuggees.

Continue up the stairs to the right, past the closed gate. Jump across the gap above the lava to the next ledge. Turn the crank to lower the 3 floating platforms. Then use them to hop up over the fence into the gated room you passed a moment ago. Grab a bazooka from the rack on the left and then pull the lever on the right to open the gate so you can get out.

Fight the Thuggees at the top of the stairs.		Then head to the right and jump across the gap.
Turn the crank to lower the 3 small platforms.		Jump up and over the fence into the enclosure.
Grab a bazooka from the rack and pull the lever to get out.

Jump back across the gap on the right to the ledge with the crank. Then cross the narrow bridge and head down the steps toward the foreground. Turn left and target the barrels of dynamite with the bazooka from a safe distance. After the explosion, run to the left and pick up as many studs as you can before they disappear. Then turn the crank that was hidden behind the barrels. This raises a series of small platforms in the lava pool.

Jump back over to the ledge with the crank. Then hop down the steps in the foreground.		Use the bazooka to destroy the dynamite.
Gather the loose studs before they vanish.		Then turn the crank to raise a set of platforms in the lava.

Use these platforms to jump all the way across the lava to the right side of the room. Fight 2 more Thuggees and then use the bazooka to blow up the plants concealing the hatch in the background. Have the Maharajah crawl through the hatch to emerge on the ledge above. Cross the LEGO bridge and pull the lever to open the gate below. Hop down and go through.

Fight 2 Thuggees in the hallway just beyond the gate, then another Thuggee and 2 Assassins in the next room to the right. The assassins are armed with jagged black swords and normally require that you use a sword to defeat them. A bazooka works even better, though. If the one you found earlier runs out of ammo and disappears, just grab another from the chest in the middle of the room.

Hop across the platforms. . .		. . . to the right side of the lava pool. Fight 2 Thuggees there.
Blow up the bushes concealing the hatch.		Have the Maharajah crawl through onto the ledge above.
Cross the bridge and pull the lever to open the gate below.		Drop down, go through the gate and fight more Thuggees.
In the next room you'll find another cache of bazookas, as well as more enemies.

When you've taken care of all the enemies in this area, blow up the silver chest on the right to get the shovel inside. Use it to dig up the silver boulder to the left of the low steps with the bazooka chest. Then blow up the boulder to get a spear that somehow fit inside it. Throw the spear into one of the sockets above the lava pool on the right.

Use the shovel to dig up the silver boulder on the left.		Then blow up the boulder. . .
. . . to get a spear.		Throw the spear into one of the sockets on the right wall.

Blow up the shrubbery in the back right corner, dig up another silver boulder there and destroy it to get a second spear. Throw it into one of the sockets on the right as well. Blow up the plants on the left and pull the lever that was hidden there. This opens the gate in the back left corner. Inside is a third spear. Throw it into the remaining socket.

Then destroy it to get another spear.		Throw the spear into one of the sockets.
Blow up the shrubs on the left to reveal a lever.		Pull the lever to open the gate at the back left. Inside is another spear.
Throw this spear into the remaining socket.

Now use the spears to jump across the lava pool and onto the high ledge in the background. Hop up on the right and carefully jump over each of the flames to reach the cache of blue and purple studs at the end of the ledge. Then hop back down near the bazooka chest.

Use the 3 spears to reach the high ledge above the lava pool.

Hop over the flames, gather the blue and purple studs and then jump back down.

The gate just to the left of this room only opens once you've collected 30,000 studs. After picking up all the studs on the hight ledge, this shouldn't be a problem. Go through the gate and up the stairs to the next room. Fight 3 more Thuggees there. Smash the plants and jars to get more studs if you like. Then push the 3 brown boxes along the checkerboard tiles and off the edge into the shallow pit. Once the boxes are out of the way, turn the crank in the background to turn on a set of 3 laser beams, which strike the 3 mirrors, raising the ramp on the left.

Use this ramp to reach the ledge above. Defeat the 2 Thuggee Acolytes waiting there and take the Artifact to finish the level.

Go through the gate on the left, which opens once you've collected 30,000 studs.		Fight 3 Thuggees. Then push the boxes into the pit on the left.
Turn the crank against the back wall.		This activates 3 lasers, which strike the 3 mirrors and raise this ramp.
Climb up, fight 2 Thuggee Acolytes and claim the Artifact.
