Raiders of the Lost Ark – Bonus Levels
Bonus Level entrances are unmarked and may even be hidden. Sometimes you must unlock certain vehicles or characters in order to reach them. However, once you enter a Bonus Level, the characters required to complete it will automatically appear. If you're having trouble finding any of the entrances, check the screenshots below or refer to the Hub Maps.
When you beat each Bonus Level, you'll receive a golden Artifact as a reward. You'll need these, plus the ones in the Treasure Levels, to unlock the Super Bonus Level. (See the Game Intro and Super Bonus Level pages for details.)

Bonus Level 1 - Mountain Shack
You'll need a vehicle to reach the entrance to this level. The screenshots below show the snowmobile, but you can also use the Jeep if you want to get there a little sooner. (See the Vehicles page for tips on unlocking both.) Drive up the icy road on the left side of the snowy island. At the top is a little, wooden cabin. Step inside to start this level.

Bonus Level 2 - Airstrip Hangar
You won't be able to reach the entrance to this level until you've completed all Story Levels and unlocked Belloq. (See the Characters page for help with this.) Once you have him, head for the right side of the barbed-wire enclosure on the big island. There's a green reflector dish here which is missing 4 reflectors. Two are lying on the ground nearby. The others are hidden inside golden objects. One is near the ice cream stand in the background; one is under some palm trees just to the right. Break these objects to get the reflectors and attach them to the green dish. When all the reflectors are in place, the dish shines a light on the ground.
Use Belloq's Staff of Ra to reflect the light onto the mirror on the right. Pivot the Staff until the beam of light bounces off the mirror onto the other mirror mounted high on the left. This opens the compound gate. Go inside and pull the lever in the right corner to open the entrance to the bonus level.

Bonus Level 3 - Hovitos Temple
Once you've unlocked a character with explosives, swim to the island in the upper right corner of the hub. Use explosives to destroy the giant silver skulls blocking the entrance to the Hovitos Temple and you'll be able to go inside.

Bonus Level 4 - Bantu Wind
In the process of reaching the entrance to the 5th Story Level, Captain Katanga's ship, the Bantu Wind, will reposition itself near the small island with the canyon at the bottom of the hub map. (See the Story Level intro for details.) Use the ladder on the side of the ship to climb out of the water. Then, instead of jumping onto the island, just drop through the open hatch on top of the ship to enter the bonus level.

Bonus Level 5 - Submarine Base
Once you've reached the island with the 5th Story Level entrance, use a character with explosives to blow up the silver-bound crate on the ledge on the left. Use the gold key inside to turn the nearby mechanism and open the gate below, releasing the U-Boat 26 vehicle so you can purchase it. Get in and steer the sub back toward the big island. As you approach, the gate at the water's edge will open. Drive through to enter this bonus level.
